School Holiday Art workshops with Ekarasa

Ekarasa Doblanovic is thrilled to be presenting for the first time her eco and creative art workshops to the Matakana community for the upcoming July School Holidays Programme 15th-19th of July at Charlies Gelato She is an experienced artist and arts educator with children and the community at large. Her works and community eco art projects have been presented in museums, galleries and schools across NZ, Australia and Italy. The workshops that she is offering are reflecting on her passion for creativity, the natural environment and eco art materials including recycling. The workshops span from making soft pastels from scratch with soils, hand paper making, collage, plant printing and many others such as drawing, painting and a variety of multimedia techniques in which children learn about the environment while expressing themselves creatively.

Each child is encouraged to explore new ways of creating while embracing its own unique expression.
Each workshop runs for the duration of 2 hours each and costs $49.
